Cardinal is a restaurant on Eyre Place in Edinburgh, led by chef patron Tomás Gormley. We serve seasonal tasting menus built around Scottish produce, cooked with care, and with a warmth we hope you feel as soon as you sit down.
Cardinal is a MICHELIN Guide Recommended Restaurant, holds a Good Food Guide Very Good distinction, and is named in the Square Meal Top 100 Restaurants 2026.

The full restaurant is available for private hire for up to 24, or our private dining room for up to 10. For celebrations, corporate dinners, weddings and Christmas parties.
